Jordan Spavor, DDS
Dr. Jordan Spavor attended The University of Western Ontario for his undergraduate studies, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences. He then continued his studies at the University of Detroit Mercy, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery. During his time at Detroit Mercy, Dr. Spavor received various awards and scholarships such as the Charles Defever scholarship and the Delta Dental Foundation's community commitment award. After graduation, he moved to Southwest Michigan with his wife who is originally from the area. He began his career in the public health sector before moving into private practice.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society. He spends time volunteering in his community at events such as the Family Health Center’s Dental Day of Caring, and the MDA's Mission of Mercy. Dr. Spavor is passionate about advancing his knowledge and skills in dentistry so that his patients may receive the best quality care at Woods Lake Dental. He is currently training at the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle Washington - a teaching center that equips dentists with the latest knowledge and techniques in esthetics, implants, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Spavor was born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. When not in the office, Dr. Spavor enjoys playing ice hockey, fishing, golfing and spending time outdoors with his wife Ashley and their two dogs Duke and Frankie.
